Customer Terms

These terms apply to customers purchasing products from Overpacked.

2.1 Orders & Payment

  • All prices are listed in EUR unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g. Stripe).
  • Overpacked does not store any payment card details.

2.2 Shipping

  • Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees.
  • Delays caused by carriers, customs, or force majeure are outside Overpacked’s control.
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

2.3 Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

A) EEA + UK: Change-of-mind (Right of Withdrawal)

  • If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
  • To exercise withdrawal, you must notify us within those 14 days (a clear message is enough). After notifying us, you must send the goods back within 14 days.
  • What we refund: the item price plus the cost of standard outbound delivery (the cheapest standard delivery option offered at checkout).
  • If you chose a more expensive delivery option (e.g. express), we refund outbound delivery only up to the standard option.
  • Return shipping: you cover the direct cost of returning the goods unless we explicitly agree to cover it or the return is due to our error (defective/incorrect item).
  • You may handle the product only as much as you would in a store to check its nature, characteristics, and functioning. If the item is returned with signs of handling beyond that, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value.
  • Refunds are sent to the original payment method. We may process the refund once we receive the returned goods or proof that they were sent (whichever is earlier).

B) Defective, damaged-in-transit, or incorrect items

  • If your item is defective, damaged in transit, or you received the wrong item, contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photos.
  • Depending on the case, we will offer a replacement, repair, or refund in line with applicable consumer laws.
  • If the issue is confirmed, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs or provide an alternative return method.

C) Outside EEA + UK: International returns (voluntary policy)

  • For customers outside the EEA and the UK, we may still accept returns within 14 days of delivery as a voluntary policy, unless stated otherwise for a specific product or destination.
  • Outbound shipping is non-refundable for change-of-mind returns outside the EEA/UK.
  • Return shipping is your responsibility unless the item is defective or incorrect.
  • Any duties, taxes, or fees paid to authorities or carriers are non-refundable by Overpacked. If a returned shipment causes import charges when it re-enters our country, we may deduct those charges from your refund (or refuse the return if the charges are unpaid).

D) How to start a return

  • Contact us using the contact details shown on our website or your order confirmation, and include your order number.
  • Do not send items back before you receive return instructions (we may need to provide the correct return address and return reference).

2.4 Refused or Reduced Refunds

Refunds may be refused or reduced if:

  • The return is initiated outside the applicable return/withdrawal period.
  • The returned item is missing parts/accessories or is returned in a condition that goes beyond acceptable handling (e.g., heavy wear, misuse, stains, odors, or physical damage). In such cases, we may reduce the refund to reflect diminished value.
  • The item is not returned at all after withdrawal/cancellation was initiated.

2.5 Warranty & Liability

  • Products are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by travel conditions are not covered.
  • This warranty is in addition to (and does not limit) any mandatory statutory consumer rights that may apply.
  • Overpacked is not liable for indirect damages, lost items, or missed trips.

3. General Terms

3.1 Changes to Terms

  • Overpacked may update these terms at any time.
  • Continued use of the website, products, or affiliate program constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

3.2 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence may also apply and are not excluded by these terms.

2.0 Preorders

A) What the Reservation Deposit is (and is not)

  • In some countries/regions we may offer a Preorder Reservation with a refundable Reservation Deposit (e.g. EUR 50).
  • The Reservation Deposit is a security deposit for priority access to a future purchase opportunity. It is not a payment for the Product and does not by itself create a sales contract for the Product.
  • The Reservation Deposit is fully refundable at any time on request, and we do not deduct payment processing fees from the refunded amount.
  • The Reservation Deposit is not automatically applied to the Product price. By default, it is refunded separately (see Section C).

B) First Batch & Priority Delivery

  • First batches are limited. Reservation Deposit holders may receive priority access (e.g. early-access link / reserved purchase window), subject to availability.
  • A reservation does not guarantee stock, delivery date, or that shipping will open in your region by any specific time.
  • We may set reasonable limits per customer and may cancel suspicious or duplicate reservations (with a full refund).

C) Price Guarantee

  • If stated on the preorder page, we may offer a Base Product Price Guarantee for reservation holders (the “Guaranteed Price”).
  • The Guaranteed Price covers the Product only. It excludes shipping, duties, import taxes, and any carrier/authority fees which depend on destination and are shown before you complete the purchase.
  • If we cannot offer the Product at the Guaranteed Price due to material changes (e.g. product redesign, regulatory constraints), you may cancel for a full refund.

D) How a Reservation becomes a Purchase

  • When shipping for your region becomes available, we may invite you to purchase the Product.
  • By default we refund the Reservation Deposit to the original payment method and you pay the full purchase total at checkout.
  • Alternatively, you may explicitly request that we apply the Deposit to your purchase. If you choose this option, the Deposit may be treated as an advance payment toward the Product price and may be documented/accounted for differently.

E) Cancellations & Refunds (Reservation stage)

  • You can cancel your reservation at any time and receive a full refund of the Deposit.
  • We may also cancel reservations (e.g. compliance, fraud prevention, product changes) and will issue a full refund.
  • Refunds are sent to the original payment method. Bank/payment processing times may vary.
